Haven't been on here in forever. Then again I don't get out fishing much either. Figured I would share my Hall of Fame musky here nonetheless. Caught this big momma on a sucker back in late October of 2017 on Pewaukee Lake in SE Wisconsin. Fish measured 53" in length and 25" in girth. Just a monster of a fish and a fish of a lifetime.
We had a 7 muskie day once on Pewaukee but the biggest was 41".
That 53 is massive for that megapressured lake. It's definitely a musky factory and is quite the numbers lake. I can't imagine how many bull dawgs and cow girls that 53" saw before it ate for you.
In them there parts where I come from, fish like that are called bait nothing beats the rush of holding that fish of a lifetime...I seriously believe that for most of us, chasing that rush is what draws us out on the water and keeps us out there, again and again and again. Congrats
Gorgeous fish and congrats! That's a heart pounder for sure.
