Hello fishing friends!! So Axehead Lake is showing many beds though doesn’t seem like many have actual eggs on em yet judging by fish behavior. But as is very typical many very small males... I’m talking 7” is a trophy. So I decided to not even give it a go after a few small dink’s and head to a neighboring hole. This had about 2-3 actual beds spotted with one big fish on one though it seemed beat. The old me would have easily focused and tore em up but instead the new me went on a walk and tried to blind cast my way to a healthy cruising largemouth.

Thank you for your Happy fishing

No one likes to be bothered when they are in bed. Good going letting that bedding bass do it’s thing.

I've been seeing bedded fish in the area as well... it's made things more like work that "fun". I enjoyed the vid, but speaking of work you might want to correct your typo "I decided to blind cast my weightless work at cover"
