Put in on the Fox Monday afternoon and motored up for a short float back. Was able to drag the whole family along. Main purpose was to break in my 15month old's sea legs. . Only had to sit out the downpour for an hour under a bridge, I'm sure my wife was thrilled at that point.
Big smallies were on the munch, a lot of plus sized river fish were had with a 1/2 dirty jig and Yum Pulse trailer.
Thanks fellas. One of the walleyes actually came on a 1/2oz Jackhammer chatter with a hoochie coochie trailer(cabelas) on 80lb suffix that I was using to target pike in the shallow weeds. Totally finessed that one  . Thatll make Heddonfrog happy I bet.
Great outing but amateur 80lb braid has me thinking you left some bites in the river. I think that little scooter boy should be handling the evinrude not you.
Nice bag o fish, family outing. Very nice report. Ive worked the shore on the west side south of 173 a few times and caught some hammers and dinky smallies, nothing like that! Well done on the walleye too.
