Years back I seen a guy catching trout in there mid june.. plenty of spots for them to hide in there after the spring stocking.. doubt they survive the fall stocking through the winters months but who knows
They have no problem surviving the winter. The trout stocked in the spring would have a harder time surviving the summer unless there's some cool springs in the lake.
I actually havnt participated in trout days in few years as I did not like the crowds and a hole fisherman....but it was a good outing with respectful guys out. Everyone got there share looks like .I heard dupage cancelled so everyone else got their fish

Thats why Busse's Npool are only stocked in fall. Anyone hit the Pool? Saw quite a few people on the shore this week on the way to work. Any lightning trout?
Still think Bode south would have been a better choice.
