I caught a chain pickeral that was badly hooked. it ended up dying, but the eagle got a free meal. it swooped down about 25 feet away from the canoe.

Great thread Dan. And some awesome pics so far. Love all the scenery pics too.

I couldn't help it but this picture came to mind. While fossil hunting at Braidwood Lake in May, walked past this man - completely sunburned, passed out while sitting up and drunk on a case of Icehouse. Priceless!

Thanks, I handed the camera over to my buddy Steve for those shots. It was an amazing day to be out, too bad the fish didn't think so.
