I saw the pod cover before, pretty nice. The problem is that it is twice as much as the normal cover. If I had to replace my current cover maybe I would pick one up, but at this drilling holes and a full replacement, not using epoxy, is only half as much as that pod.

There was a nice little set up I saw where they drilled everything into a cutting board and used a one pole mount in the middle to hold a Scotty camera gps etc. If you want to switch things up all you can do was move the "tray" items. I need a picture of it to better visualize what my words can not describe.

Interesting that you can had cut a hole for the transducer. Does yours have the transducer scoop? Mine is in the water using that scoop hole already provided. All I had to do was cut off the transducer mount and used shower components and jb wield to make a very tight and stable holder through the hole that I can take off. Works quit well.

As far her choosing a S.O.T.... I told her she'll regret the sit in when I have my feet cooling off in the water... that alone was a selling point.

What's up brothas! Haven't been on the site in a while. Been traveling a lot for work. Just stopped in today and saw the Yak Forum. I've been waiting for this to get up on windycityfishing. Thanks Jason! "Post Yer Yaks V.2" - nice! Don't have a pic off hand but had a clip of my yak on youtube. Here's the link:
It's an OK Prowler Trident 13. Just got the mod pod hatch upgrade which would be the only thing different from the vid. I may have to sell her with a new edition coming to the family so i'll make sure if it comes to that (which I hope it doesn't =) I'll post it up here on this site first! Yak On brothas!

well..nothing you wouldnt see on most stock versions of this rig but here's my OK Trident 11, 2011. Took it out hunting muskie today on the fly..and well..the hunt continues.

..and since I've been on the water all day and would rather enjoy a Two Hearted than figure out why my file sizes are too large, here's a link to the shots: http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set= ... 0aa37707c3

Did you build your wheel unit or buy it?

I'm using a canoe carrier type wheels thing, but hope to come up with something lighter.
I bought it, don't recommend it though, broke at Delavan, before it broke it was great. I need to contact the company, supposedly it has a lifetime warranty
You are a crafty guy Ron, I bet you could do better then this one.

PVC sucks. You probably saw outriggers on my green kayak. Bought the kit and built them. Stupid PVC broke on one of them on a nice calm lake in the UP. So glad it didn't happen out far in the big waves on Lk Michigan. I replaced the pvc with hollow aluminum poles.

I should revisit the wheels project. I have to chain up my current wheels on shore and hope they haven't been messed with when I return. I want something lighter that I can either break down or attach to the milk crate and take with me on the water.

These pics are AWESOME! Thanks for sharing everyone. I am one of the many who recently got hooked on kayaking, and of course why just kayak when you can fish while kayaking! I haven't had too much luck catching fish in the kayak (still working on staying in one place, and have mostly kayaked at busse, which can be hard no matter how you fish it).

Here's my yak:

Dicks' Potomac cheap-ish yak, with added rod holders. I don't have enough room for storage in the back, so I rigged a milk crate in the front. Most of the time it's fine, but sometimes I paddle into stumps because I can't see directly in front of me.
