Got out to fish with a buddy this afternoon, fished from 230 to 4. This lake was new for us, but on arrival it would be smart to use frogs and other topwaters. Within a few casts I hooked a 13' on a woolly bullee. First topwater! After two huge blowups, the bite stopped. My friend caught another dink on a frog and that's all she wrote. Sorry about no pics, but honestly the fish weren't worth the picture.

Congrats on the first! I think the only think more addicting than catching bass is catching bass on topwater
