quick outing

Went out this afternoon since the sun was out. hit the brandon lock and dam.

Only fished four about 2 hours before my toes were really cold in the water. Pike! This was a first for me in this location. Didn't see any gar at all.

So unless the dam freezes?....i guess I have a spot to fish in the cold weather too!

Very nice, if you can fit a pair of wool socks it really helps the toes.

What happened to that Woz guy who never caught a pike anyway?

Some guy named sims gave me a good staring point a month back!

I was really surprised to see a pike. I didn't think gar and pike occupied the same area

nice pike. ill probly hit it up a couple times this winter also if it doesnt freeze i need sum wadders

Creek mouths are known to be good pike hangouts this time of year. I don't know that spot specifically, but I'll bet it doesn't freeze over. Good luck this winter, I'll look forward to your reports.
