When all was said and done, 35 fish hit the pier, 32 Coho, 2 Browns, and 1 big arlee strain steelhead.

These were the ones who came home with the four of us.

Fish are everywhere, and hit everything. Crawlers under bobbers took about 10, rattle traps and other crank baits took about 7, power lines with worms and minnows took the rest. The crank bait fish were my favorite.

Fish hit from 2 feet in front of the pier, all the way out to the furthest hook on the deepest power line. All you have to do at this point is show up and you'll catch fish.

The Arlee weighed 8 lbs, for anyone counting.

Nice buncha trout dude. Mplant and Rootpro along for the ride?
Mplant was there, I haven't seen rootpro since late October. David and another Tom were out there with us, not sure if they're active around the forums or not.

Yeah I know what he meant, but this post was to motivate folks to get out, there is no secret spot. Fish are everywhere, I've been to 4 different spots this week, from the south side to the north side, and never did an hour go by in any spot without a hook set.

Nice work Cam & Crew.

I wish I had more time to fish the lakefront, these freezer filler trips are a blast!

That is one hell of a football Arlee! Was that a float or crank fish? I bet it fought just a wee-bit better than the coho.

Ahhhhhhh yes, the ol' blog. I fear it is in it's sunset, though I will leave it online, perhaps one day my fingers will itch for a running log of my adventures. For now it will rest on the internet in relative silence.

Sorry to hear Cam. Your LM photography was something I always looked forward to.

Be sure to share your Summer of Tuna Love adventures on the boards then, those days are right around the corner. I'm already excited.

Nice catch man!!! What area where you fishing near? I ask becuase I dont want to go out to Montrose and fish for them if they are not there and being caught in Kenosha instead. Just curious to have a starting point. This time of the year can be great near shore...
