I watched a 20-25 lb carp battleship cruising around Big Bend this morning along with several others near that size. I had something pick up my nightcrawler and swim off with my hook in a matter of seconds, carp, bass, or pike I don't know. After about 2 hours I finally caught a 10" bass! Wee ha. 4-5 other guys out fishing, one had about an 8lb carp on a stringer the other guys were skunked. There were two guys in a cartopper with a gas outboard strapped to the back. Read the signs at the launch folks!
After catching another small bass I decided to call it a day and headed back to the parking lot, stopping to make one final cast.
