i was thinking about heading up to Racine again this Saturday but i heard of some " Burnout Bash fishing contest". is this going to make it way more crowded ? or shouldn't make a difference?

There're some posts in another forum about the extreme effectiveness of bobber and spoon play, but it does not employ jiggging, it's to keep the spoons out of the bottom rocks. And two guys here also slam spoons there just like here.
It get tiresome listening to dogma, but no true tips/facts...

Just having some fun in regards to afore mentioned other site - not meant to mislead anyone.
Spoons do catch plenty of fish - it's just preference/time of year. Throw what you have confidence in b/c you will fish that bait harder and increase your sucess.
Please do not put a cleo or KO under a bobber ... and leave the pantyhose at home. (skein under an ice jig late in the year is a legit option under a float though)
