I got the time to fish in Wisconsin twice this months, both times in the Castle Rock area. Water was very low the first time and a tad better the second one, but still low. I tried for everything: I used cranks deep and mid depth, topwater for muskies, jigs for walleyes...

I got probably around 30-40 walleyes with only two above 15. I got largemouth, smallmouth, whitebass, musky, crappies. The odd thing there is I could not convince a musky to bite on a big bait. I got one on a 3" fluke with 1/8 jig... of course with light equipment, but I managed to get that one out. The second one was on a Frenzy Flicker Shad small. I tried a lot of big baits with no hits. My wife got 4 hits in one day on a 3" Excalibur shad, the only action we saw that day except one on live bait from a boat. She managed to get one out: around 32".

Anyway, some pics:

This one was 38" and fat, and that was a nice fight on a ML rod with a 10lbs braid. 3 jumps completely out of water and probably 6-7 very long runs.
