Got on water with a co worker named Chuck. Started at Geneva at 630 cold temps overnite of 39 , wasnt sure how the fishing would be. Chuck threw a Rattletrap and picked off 2 Bass pretty quickly wich surprised myself. I tossed a chatterbait to no takers then tossed a jerkbait in 7 feet and lost a solid fish. Around 715 started tosiing Senkos and picked off a fish every ten minutes or so.Nothing big just some 2lbers. Had lunch at Chucks in Fontana on the water and made a game plan for Delly.

Headed over to Delly after lunch, got to a good spot and caught some nice 19-20 inch fish on plastics on a windblown shoreline. Then threw spinnerbaits and got some Bass but no Pikes . Chuck threw a blade bait wich ive never seen anyone throw before , he got a Smallie on it and missed a fish. Was cool l to fish with some one new and see the different ideas other people have. Long day with 25 Bass or so seems like alot but we were also out ther a good 10 hours

Dave yes for a short period last thursday and yesterday. I actually talked to a guide i know a bit today and he told me the bite is way slow and he just found out they have been in over 30 feet for sure, no wonder i did poorly as i fished from 19-25 feet. A few feet makes all the difference in the world for that bite. Maybe next time , siiting at home right now and thought i would take a day off but now getting the itch for a Wisconsin Lake . Proably gonna hit 1 of the 2 today wont know till i start driving up there.

Headed out been directed by boss in house if i get to out and sidestep chores for a day i must bring back some panfish for someone in need........no problem. The goal is 20 nice gills over 7-8inches . Not a bad deal :D

Mission accomplished. Got some 7-8inch gills for some peeps we know. Mini mite , piece of crawler or gulp 1 inch minnow tossed under just about any pier produced fish. Biggest annoyance was i must have caught over 35 little 2 inch Smallmouth, i guess its great to see for the future. Would have done a bass evening bite but although it was not a heavy wind when on a windblown shoreline it got to be a bit dangerous for me lots of water over the transom made me give into common sense at 330. Did get 1 18inch Bass on a 10 inch worm. Some pics later.
