Dying to get out for a wade and use the new combo. I took a sexy photo shoot before she gets banged up. Interested in this new Revo Beast Model. Anyone using that reel or heard anything about it?

reading the description of the reel it appears its a match made in heaven with you..... oversized baits, deeper spool for more heavy line. Thing looks like a tank.

here I thought I was mr fancy pants with my legend tournament/revo stx combo but sheeesh....Im ashamed to be in the same 20 mile radius as you.

lets break that bad boy in......are you taking reservations for others to admire it?

Wow even on a G Loomis rod - maybe that will get you that elusive shiller park 40 incher. Some day I will try a bait-caster. Until then I will stay in the 70s with Busse Jim.

Since your sharing I will share my $60 spent on stuff from the fish swap this morning

I went there just to look for cheap rods and for skirts, found some cheap rods but the guy with good skirt prices and sizes I liked for pike spinners wasn't there this year..

I did pick up a couple rods that were new (but old school)...a nice light quantum Tour MH graphite rod and a south bend M graphite rod. Took some bartering but got them package deal $20. Picked up some old school stanley and other spinner baits, some hard baits, fireline for $8, some jigs, some plastics, some terminal tackle, couple little frogs, some bagged junk.

:lolno:

Is it too early to take recommendations for quote of the year?

Hey Joe is that a J-13 in your lot? $9-10 dollars at the big box. Got to love the swap prices. I couldn't find any at the salmon swap, I must have cleaned them out the last couple years.

AP no that's a rebel fastrac...a guy had several different colors $5 a piece. if you like J13s you would like the fastrac. When I can find the bigger version I buy them. fastracs have the joint farther back, actually like the factracs better than J13s

I'm gonna go brag to my friends that I post on the same website as that one guy with the sweet combo 8) I don't think I would even want something that nice. I'd be too worried about dropping it into mud or the river (which I do a few times every season.)
