i was there sunday and threw tubes, cranks, and fake gobys, ended up with one rock bass. I did get a few follow ups from smallies. Some guy there was using life gobys and caught a nice smallie

I do not think that there are any restrictions on using live gobys as bait. Heck they dont even want the things in American waters anyways. THere is nothing in the 2009 fishing regulation guide stating that you can not use them as bait. Usually DNR dont ask what are you using for bait they just check your License.

you may not be in possession of live goby's.
you can catch one kill it and put it on your hook...but your better off throwing a tube...or a jig.
