Smallmouth got me really stumped! Never seen them this way. You can see them on the beds but they are not aggressive. Through 6 different lures at them before I finally caught this girl a little over 18"

If you're seeing smallies on beds in the Kank throw a hellgramite imitation. It drives the smallies nuts on the Kank.

it doesn't matter what you throw at a smallie 98% of the time if it's locked on a bed it will eat it. You just need to make it mad. Wiggling small senkos frantically on a drop shot usually tends to speed up their aggression the quickest. In addition make numerous pitches to speed up the time table.
