Fished Opeka for a a few hours last night and a few more just now. The water is high, there were some pretty fat minnows swimming in 4 or so inches of water by the boat launch that would be a couple feet onto the shore most of the year. For reference here is how a popular Opeka landmark currently looks:

The most interesting thing about this weekend for me was hybrid sunfish. I've caught bluegill, crappie, and perch from Opeka (still no rockies), and wasn't aware there were hybrid sunfish in there but I got one each yesterday and today, on different color texas craws right next to the shore. Both hit on the drop. Wondering if this is a water level thing?

Caught a fair amount of dink bass on texas craws, cranks, and lipless cranks. Also had bites on a drop shot and a senko (first time throwing the Senko this year I think). Not much size this weekend.

There is a lot of schooling up and chasing going on as of late. Definetely a good time of year to throw some moving baits.

Nice Green Sunfish
Yes, those are greenies.
Thanks gentlemen. This has not been my year for panfish identification. The only other one I ever caught was on salt creek and had a greener body and vivid turquoise markings head to tail, these guys seemed more gillish. Wikipedia says they spawn at various times during the summer, maybe that is why they were there.
