After all that nastiness I picked up the slack and fish was gone. Still makes for a nice story. I washed my hands extra well after that incident.

at busse back in college caught a duck on rapala.... reeling it in and turned to talk to my buddy and next thing i know my line is flying out..thought i had something big but then realized my line was going up.... this duck starting flying with my fav lure....craziest thing... i let the line free spool as he came back down and he shook it loose.. so glad i was just about to cut it- did not want to kill it....

I somehow snagged a babies diper out of axehead a nd you dont wanna know what was in it :shock: :lol:

and a snapping turtle,frog, hugeeeeeeeee branch.

Thought I was snagged then had on the bass of the trip.

I pulled up and it sank back slowly.
Fought wierd but kept pulling line vs my drag.

It went on for a while..

Finally at the net i saw a softball sized rock with my jig wedged inside.
I think it was loose, my jig stopped fast and i new i had a fish but he didn't move.
Man did i catch crap from my buddies!
