Just drove up River Rd to Mt. Prospect. Stopped at several spots along the way. Wow - water, water and more water. Busse Rd where it passes under the tracks by Dempster/NW Hwy is flooded out. Stopped at the old Dam #2 site & it goes way back in the woods on the East side.

Every time I think I can fish my spot the skies open & this happens. I might have gotten a line wet twice so far. Not sure how much DPR fishing I'll get in...

I tried south DPR this past Saturday and the water was mighty high and fast. The water was stained and I had difficulty finding fish. Ended up only getting a little dink bass off some slack water inlet. I agree with jmdog where I think it's going to be tough to get too much out of the DPR until June and it dries up and slows down.

I should pick up some Medium Heavy Grabbin' Gloves™, I hear you can really feel the fish fight with these..

Keep your finger out of those places and it won't smell like that.
