Brought the boys out to the river this afternoon. Actually had some good action. In 90 minutes we caught 5 carp and one buffalo and lost a couple more. I was using a 1/16th oz jig with a minnow hoping for a eye but no luck. Kids had a blast reeling in those hogs on a ultralight equipment and 4lb test.

good to hear that you and your sons got on some fish i kno they had to love the fight that the carp put up............i never did much carp fishing but its a lot of fun to feel them on the line
