Fun following this and admiring the catches. Just curious what the dam removals did to that little bay area by the rt60 launch. I remember a couple years back with typical summer levels you could barely paddle that section.

That dam has no affect on that pool and launch. Too far upstream for the tiny dam. That pool is condemned to river levels which in summer are naturally low making that pool unreachable. Thats a man made channel that is collasping in every flood anyway. That along with the vegetation and muck, it gets harder every year to reach that silly pool. I often take out along the bridge there. That way you can avoid the steep incline at the smelly launch.
Thanks. I just remember the one time I launched kayak there that paddling to the river was not too bad but just 4 hours later the river dropped enough to where I almost had to get out and drag it back in.
