Got out for a short float on "my" new Yaks maiden voyage.
Yes, I said Yak! You guys finally got me. Was presented with an opportunity, I just couldn't pass up. He was practically giving it away and now you can call me Busse yakkin' Jim.
Some of you might recognize it
5pm-7, grey skies, little wind, good vis.
Paddled out to my fav spot and 5 mins later had my first bass of the year and first yak bass a 15" 1.8lber on a chatter. 8)
Twenty mins later a 14" 1.7 lber.
Spot one of the Eagles circling overhead. 25 mins and another 14" 1.5lber in a little sprinkle.
30 mins more with a change to my magic spinner got me a 15" 2 lb even bass.
Great way to start out the season and break in my new ride, see ya on the water.
