S/E winds mild, a muggy 90* and sunny. Fished from 6:30pm to 7:45 with nothing but a couple of follows right near shore. Threw shads, white and black spinners, no senkos. Started at northern end and moved to 'my spot' at the south after 15 minutes (drop off at the north end is at least fifteen feet out and makes casting difficult, especially into S/E winds!) Place was packed but only one fishing.
I need a reason to pay that "fishing fee" (especially a non-resident fee) to fish Lake Opeka. Keep hitting it though, Topwater... make us all believers!
