Got out at about 7:30am and worked the south shore. I only saw one other guy there fishing. I threw in my new shallow dive crank and manage two nice LMBs. I also caught a dink that was about the same size as the lure. That always cracks me up. Those little guys always think they can swallow something there own size. On my way out I dragged a dark green tube with an 1/8 oz weighted hook along the shore as I walked. Its hard to tell if you have bites cause the rip rap is bouncing your lure all over the place. I manage 2 more med size LMBs. Not bad for the ole "on-the-way-to-work" quick fish.

Great job. Fishing before work is hard for me too. Too much of a buzzkill knowing that I have to leave even if the fishing is hot.

Yeah, that doesn't work for me either. I have to catch a train downtown so early that it just won't happen so I just pray for getting out early on Fridays.
