Tons of bass, didnt bother counting today. Decent size, between 13-16"s. Same time, 2-5 was the best. Was there till about 7:30 but it really died down.
Hit just about everthing, my new chatterbait, floating jointed rapala(Thx Islandfisher! That thing rox!) crawlers and roaches. Still very close to shore, no more than 15 feet out.
Pretty much walked the same ole spot, looked and spotted the bass and off i went!

I fished from 6:00 until 7:30 when it started to come down. I started on the south side of the northwest arm of the lake, but that was a mistake. Nothing there. Once I finally got to a good spot it was already 7:00, but it resulted in 2 fish and one thrown hook when the fish launched itself from the water. The 2 I caught were 12" and 15" and both a dark blue senko with purple flake. Danno, were you wearing a red shirt? I was the big guy in the dark t-shirt and jeans. Good job out there again. That area of the lake is awesome. First time fishing that side.

Yep was me! Thought you looked familiar for some reason. Did lots of fishing at that lake, and that side seems to be the best. Not many people fish there, and if they do its just a cast an move type thing. Need a bit of time there and it will pay off. Next time ill offer ya a cold one!
Headed of to hintz liquors after that for the birthday booze, if the weather looks nice ill see ya at deep. If ya wanna car pool, lemme know, im at Buffalo Grove and Dundee.

From what I have seen at that lake that side has some nice structure. Weedy patches and rocky areas. It produced for me so that says a lot. I have been getting skunked often lately.
