Got on on land today 5-6:30pm. ne/e winds, mild, overcast, 70*. Perfect for me, and not many people out. Put new 10lb PLine on and loved it, much better than the trilene and almost no birdnests, one that was pretty easily removed. tossed black bucktail spinner and got a 15" LMB on it, tossed a lipless crankbait and got my first ever 14"LMB on it, tossed black 5" senkos and hit paydirt with another 4 15" LMB's and a handful of missed hooksets. Not bad at all, finally! Used 4lb mono leader for the senkos. Finally a decent outing at opeka! the rip rap is a b*tch to deal with but all were gotten dragging the shoreline about 10-15' out with the exception of one right at the shore.

No, no pics. I have no excuse other than I just don't usually think about it.
