fished from 2-5, started out fishing for carp with my saltwater pole but didnt get any. I then switched to my spinners on my regualr pole. Fished one spot that worked for me, and no fish. then hiked to one of the dams and caught a 18-20 inch pike. Fishing was slow though and they kept tapping my line. I have a photo but it was on my freinds camera. The mosiquitos ate me alive, and i have never seen them that bad anywhere else. Use bug spray!

i went n fished the des plaines river and the bugs tore up my face. i looked like i came bak from boxin wit joe frazier man
