Fished the quarry from 6pm to 8pm. I was working a black and red 1oz spinnerbait for the first 20 minutes on the flats of the second rock point on the west side of the lake. Managed a nice fat 17in LM on my third cast thinking that tonight is the night. Well i was wrong. That was it. I threw buzzzbaits, zara spooks, popers, slugos, zoom super fluke, and over course the YUM Dinger and nothing. With south winds, persure was a little high, full moon shining they should be on the feeding bag. Oh well thats why the call it fishing. Here is teh pic of the 17incher

Nice fatty. Sometimes that's how it goes, though. The "best" conditions sometimes end up not producing while days with high, blue-bird skies & North winds can bring a boatload of fish. Sweet bass regardless. Good fishing.
