Hit a river for a few hours, and was lucky to have even that opportunity - these guys keep my weekday outings abbreviated for now.

Fishing was pretty good. A solo 15" largemouth went after a ned jig tossed under a log, but it were swimbaits who did most of the damage and took all the punishment. Did not get much in the way of numbers, maybe 15, but I also did not have time to reach some productive spots, or really pound some of the areas where I came up empty.
PS. The mosquitos were something else.
