Worked the s.shore adjacent to the park for couple early morning hours. Threw senkos and cranks w/ no takers. It was surpringly shallow despite the recent rain. I should've walked around to find some deeper spots. While working the artificials with one pole, I threw another one deep with some chicken which brought in this bullhead with a huge round belly. BTW, what is the proper way to handle one? Hook was caught near its throat and I had trouble even with a longnose plier. It had a very strong mouth and was biting my thumb down pretty hard with its bunch of little teeth.
