How friendly is the river to fishing from a boat? Is most of it deep enough or is it too shallow to pull that off?

There are some sections where a boat is doable. Lots of area's where it isn't. If you want to put a boat in the Fox I would recommend the chain o lakes. I know you can also put one in st chas or south geneva but are limited in how far you can go up & downstream anywhere on the river.
