Fished The Chicago River With Neil today for two Hours, It was Very cold But I did Have success With Mr. Carp. the Fishing was considerably good Throughout the 2hour trip Were i landed Several Fish as you'll see in the Video. All were caught on 21/2" White Grubs with a 1/8 oz. Jig head.

For some reason I do not think 2 carp released back into the chicago river will make much of a difference.
Besides, something needs to eat all the nuclear waste in that river..

I remember when I worked at building on the river there used to be a barge that went up and down the river dragging crap off the bottom, and man would that barge fill up quick, and with some wierd stuff.

there's plenty of "rough" fish in waters closer to where you guys fish also, They've been in the water systems long enough I believe there harmless, As the population of predator fish gets better each year. The newly Invasive species is what we should concentrate on.

I Actually Will be attending this years deep outings but as far as WWD It's to much of the shoulder to shoulder stuff for me. I'm Very excited to attend and meet all of you face to face.

I think that is such a big misperception..there were what? 15 guys out there in the last "friendly outing"...and the "shoulder to shoulder " was not event close.!!!!....you can fit 20+ people at the WWD and 'then' it may become a shoulder to shoulder issue. then we can toss Augy off the west rail.....to make room .....LOL

My Apologies for the Misconception, But I Will be Attending DEEP As for the wwd I'll hit it from time to time.

I've got really excited after today's outing I'm going to show you guys some AMAZING top water action from a pond we found And From The Skokie Lagoons. jigging For Large Mouth on Busse As well As deep crank bait fishing on busse, Were Going to cover so much this year from pan fish to musky I'm Really EXCITED!

I'll Definitely be there, I was Heart broken when the season ended last year and i didn't get to fish one. I did End up Fishing Deep once With decent success but need to go back some more to feel comfortable on the lake. I'll Fish them as well as The Chicago river tourney I'm running as long as schedules don't run the same date I'll be there 9 out of 10 of the time.

Hey George I dig the video....is the current in that area you are fishing coming from some sort of water treatment plant? That's a pretty big area with alot of current....must hold some serious fish at times. So where ya getting these 2" grubs. Set me up!
