Fished the Yorkville dam area today. Water temp still not above 40 deg, level was high and fast. Had to stay near shore. Foul hooked 1 large carp, lip hooked a sheep head and landed this 22” girl. Released all. We need some consistent 50 degree days. C’mon Spring.

I'm still waiting for my first "EYE" from the Fox. I'm giving up on Algonquin and Elgin dams. I'm heading south on the Fox this spring.

I should have said that this one was from last fall. But the river does have some nice walleye in it .

Grems- caught it on a #10 husky jerk. Blood on my hand was from the top fin of the sheepshead flopping around.
