Hit the Des plains river this morning and After 2 hrs of casting a whopper plopper , mepps 5, swimbait , getting ready to give up I finally land a hard hitting smallmouth on a alie express crank bait , the few min later another , then got one on a ned rig then started getting into some rock bass . Ten fish total 5 smallies 1 largemouth ( small) 4 rock bass .
