A buddy from work and I are going to make it out for a morning/afternoon fishing trip in about two weeks when we both have the day off. He lives down by Lombard and I live up in Evanston. I've become fairly familiar with the lakes in this area (and also the all too frequent skunks). Any suggestions as to a good shore fishing lake or pond to do some bass and or pike fishin that we can meet at somewhere between our two residences? Thank you in advance for any assistance.

How about Busse? Should be about the same distance for both of you and plenty of shore fishing. And if you go you might want to give the North Pool a try. A lot of people forget about it but there are some nice bass in there!
