Took a quick outing in the beautiful weather. Proved to be worth it.
Both fish caught on the same jig, in heavy timber at about a 3-4ft depth. Thank god for braided line. :lol:

19in ; Weighed in at 3lb even

18in ; Weighed in at 2lb 12oz

In my opinion, this outing was very successful, considering the fact that the last 2 times I've been there I got skunked. Plus, this was the first time I have caught a bass on a jig. It is an accomplishment.

Black and blue seems to be working good these days. I got one off a black and blue tube Saturday and yesterday my buddy told me he got 3 good ones off a black and blue worm.
