Hello all,

Spent a few hours last night at Arrowhead. Bass are firmly on their beds. I’m trying not to target those on beds (but I’m sure it’s unavoidable as I’m fishing a fixed line rod).

Two fly patterns got it done, a simple dubbing leech, and a japanese fly (“kebari”); simple wool body and hackle that faces forward.

small twitches sealed the deal.

always fascinated seeing spawning bass. amazed that the genetic code takes over and makes them throw caution to the wind. hope they’re successful and produce a good class.
