recently picked up an ascend fs10 and love it. Just curious as to what type of camera mounts you all have and how you like them.... Really want to work on the timer photos and stop the (girl at the bar) type self portraits. The yak I have has a remove able rod holder in the front middle that I really dont want to get rid off....its already come in pretty handy but if theres a way to put an extender on it or even a simple clamp style I can clamp on the side. Just trying to brainstorm a little. I will prob take a ride to rei and some other places tomorrow to check out some solutions....also anyone know anyplace around the area with a large selection of yak accessories? I am not an online buyer since I would like to actually see it..... I was going to hit rei and maybe cabelas but anything in the area that has more of a selection would be appreciated.

I have a nikon waterproof coolpix so its not big at all and doesnt need a monster rig....just need some ideas.

I just set up two this week.
This is the over head one I put my gopro on

This one up front (where the gopro is) is a Scotty mount ($20) it holds a gopro or a regular camera.

Agreed.. need to find a way to get a camera mount on my ascend D10T..

Go Scotty all the way. Recommend ordering stuff for yaks from Austin Kayak.

For the time being maybe just a $5 tripod to put on the front of the yak.. I went and bought a whole bag full of bolts. The size bolt that screws into the camera, I've been sticking those bolts every where for camera mounts.

Ended up ordering the scotty swivel camera mount and the deck mount. Should be delivered wednesday....until then im stuck using my arm like a sucker
