Well, If I am the official for this one, I say, as soon as you check in and
pay your boat rental your free to hit the water. If someone could call,
and let them know were going to be there early that would be great. If
everyone dosn't feel comfortable with me beeing the new guy and
running this it is ok. I don't have a problem letting someone else
handle it.Let me know your thoughts.

20 per
6:am'ish (check the thread it may change)
meet at the docks..down the hill at Jack and Lidias
most guys use a stringer. there are 2 weigh-ins 10am and 1am
(2 weigh-in are used so we don't drag the fish around all day)

Driving in to work today there was barely fishable light at about 5:45. We should be fine with a 6A start time. It probably makes it more fair to get everyone out on the water at roughly the same time anyway.

We have 11 confirmed boats. Still wondering what JasonN and Bgbass29 are doing?

I took Madcraws idea and bought the livewell kit from Cabelas for $40. It is a piece of cake to set up, and all you need is a cooler and you hook the cables to your trolling motor battery.
After seeing those fish we caught getting lethargic and not looking good, I felt really guilty about putting them through that. Now that I have the livewell I probably won't have any fish to put into it.
If anyone needs more info, I'd be willing to help, or maybe Madcraw can help you out.
Here's the link if anyone is interested:

THAT IS THE LONGEST LINK I'VE EVER SEEN!!!!

That would be a great piece of gear at a good price.

I want one bad, but am simply out of space in the boat. As much as I would like to make my cooler smell like fish (really!), I think we are gonna stick with a stringer, and a bucket to put them in as we move.

This did give me a pretty decent idea though, involving mounting a small 12v bilge pump and some tubing in the extra space inside my battery box. You know, just in case.

I'm thinking of coming to the tournament. But can't find all the details I need.

Start time is 6 AM, when is finish time?

Were there two weigh in times?

No natural bait, only one line in water per angler.

Penalties for dead fish. I may not have time for a fancy aerator setup. I do have an ice chest. How do I use that to keep the fish alive? I normally release them.

How much is the entry fee for tomorrow? I'm not interested in AOY since I haven't competed. I just want to have the money to enter tomorrow.

Thanks.

Everyone make sure you are ready to go for the boating....

*Battery box, with lid
*Fire extinguisher (only if you are running a gas motor, and Jack rents them for $1 if I remember correctly. Better than the $75 it cost me last year)
*Lifejackets (I believe Jacks has plenty of these)
*Whistle or horn (Im serious here, I learned the hard way)

Hopefully Lake County will not represent itself, but you never know. With all the drug chatter, I wouldn't be surprised.
