My first post!
I took a drive to Busse Lake last Saturday. I was heading East on I90 towards Arlington heights exit. I could of sworn I saw at least 3 Bald Eagles in some dead tall trees! Anyone ever encounters bald eagles around Busse Lake before?

They've been there for quite some time.

At this point you can run into a bald eagle at any sizable body of water.

That pair has been there since around 2012. If you saw 3, then they had another successful hatch, and its past fledgling size. Yea! Haven't been back to the nest this year so thanks for the post.
The old ( 1st, and abandoned ) nest's tree fell down over the winter into the marsh. Was a terrible location anyways ( in the standing water). From what i can tell from 90, the nest keeps getting taller. five years of remodeling.

That and also Turkeys not that they were endangered but the restocking in this state has really took off

I saw on the news there was a turkey on the lakefront by McCormick Place, they think it was killed by a coyote recently.
