Got out for a couple hours last night at Diversey Harbor and hooked into some decent largemouth bass. One I was able to land, and the other snapped off my line as I was retrieving it out of the water.

Also, I managed to locate at least one smallie in the current area by the Fullerton Ave. bridge. He kept chasing my lure, but wouldn't strike.

All in all, a good night knowing that the largemouth bass at Diversey are finally turning on!

I went last month and got largies but couldnt get a smallmouth. Thanks for your suburbs report though, Ive been hitting that pond and got a few decent bass out of there.
