Because I had a dental appointment at 9:20 this morning, I took the morning off and decided to spend a couple of hours at The Glen. I started out on the long pier at 6:20, but by 6:40, without a bite or sign of activity, I decided to head to the north bay. Throwing a Green Pumpkin Baby Brush Hog around the pads was the ticket. At 6:50 I landed a scrappy 12" bass--he put up a good fight. At 6:55 I landed my second bass, a 13" that put up a spirited fight as well. On my way out to the parking lot I dropped my lure in the pads in the south pool. Though I didn't hook any fish, I saw a couple of fairly large swirls and pad movement. If I had been able to stick around, I would have put more time in on those pads.
