Hit Beck at around 3 and fished til seven. Late start to the day. Took the canoe out and the new St. Croix 6'6" light action. Fished the island for an hour with no avail. Then moved to the reeds. My buddy pulled a 11 inch out of the reeds. Then moved to the weeds and downed logs to the west end of the lake. Missed a few hits. Then a few casts later my rod almost came flying out of my hands and i landed a 18" LMB

After a few more cast i hit a spot right under the log and instantly got another hit.

this one measured in at 19" pretty good for the first time at beck on the canoe. Finished the day with 4 LMB between the two of us.
