I found some pics I took at Beck lake 3 years ago in the middle of winter (Feb 2003). The temp was about 10 this day and believe it or not - a DNR officer came out on the ice and checked the ice-fishermen for licenses! I wasn't fishing that day, just on a pic shoot, tripod and all. Here's the pics...

Never would have guessed that 2 years later (Sept. 2005) I would catch my biggest largemouth bass ever (21") from this exact spot!
Let's not take the remaining few weeks of summer for granted, this "sh*t" is coming soon!
