Tried for bass at Beck for a few but got the skunk. Threw spinnerbaits and cranks, water was 51-53 degrees depending on where I was. They should be biting soon! I did spend about a half hour when I got there untangling a goose from the plastic fencing and wire that was on the island. As annoying as geese can be I couldn't just leave the poor thing. After I cut her loose she ran right to her nest, but I don't think she could fly.

They need to do something about all that bullshit netting and stuff they put out on that island. It's been there for almost two years already. It looks bad, and now it's hurting wildlife.

Maybe you can send those pics into the IDNR and maybe they will come out there and remove the netting if you give them a location. They actually might for once have a concern for our wild-life... I'm just glad it was not a duck :wink:
