Beck Lake report 9/14/06

Been really busy lately, so haven't had time to fish or post much. But I did manage to make it out to Beck this morning between 10 and 11am, fishing the entire eastern shoreline. The weeds are drying up a little but still very abundant, especially in southern half of the lake. Very light winds out of the northeast and sunny skies.

The last time I caught a fish at Beck was almost 6 months ago! So naturally I was pretty happy to hook into two LM bass, one about 10" and one about 12", both caught using a shallow diving crankbait. I also tossed a charteuse spinnerbait for a while but had no takers.

I'll continue to be busy with school in the near future, but hope to fish Beck at least one more time before the weather dips below the 50s.

Thanks for the report. We haven't heard from you in a while and I was beginning to wonder what you've been up to.
Wow!! Haven't seen a report from Beck lately. Good to know theres still bass at Beck!

I'm going over there in the next week or so to test my new secret bass recipe.
Nice job Fan. If you can catch em at Beck, you can catch em anywhere
