Good luck out there! I was there three days this week after work. Got a nice 16" lmb one day off the island. Talked to a couple guys, one said he got a few little bass and the other guy was fishing crappie/gills doing ok. The water is up 6-8 inches above the norm, and is heavily stained. I didnt have a thermometer, but the water felt good. Probably in the high 50's or low 60's. The geese are already everywhere.

we got the skunk. saw a goose with a broken leg felt really bad for it wanted to help but once i got closer it started limping away. didnt want to aggitate it anymore. hope its just really hurt and can make a recovery, but dont be suprised to find a dead goose if u guys go out there. this was 2nd time for me at beck. im looking forward for more trips out there with some pics.

thanks for the good wishes guys! got the old skunk. Temps in the mid 50's very breezy. Worked much of the shore started with a white spinner. Then berkely frenzy crank. Switched to a green senko nothing. Got there at 430 left around 6. There were lots of geese with the cute little babys. It was nice to get out after work. I am going to try to get out a lil in the moring.
