Rich L has had some luck out there on his boat but most people on the site stray away from the lake. Look Rich's old posts and check it out for yourself. I'd like to get out there one day but Beck always seems to be calling my name from down the street.

I love the look of Big Bend. Never had any luck out there though.

Agreed. The lake looks like it would hold a very healthy amount of good sized bass, especially in the finger.

However, since I have moved out here 10 years ago and discovered Big Bend I have yet to catch any fish from within it. I will persist and hopefully be rewarded at some point.

Like Sean said Rich L has given many reports of that lake with some really nice bass he and his brother have caught.

Wouldn't hurt to give it a shot.

I have caught a nice tin can and milk crate out of there! The milk crate was a ten pounder!! :wink:

I've had moderate luck out there persistence is key ..pulled a few bass last year one was prob close to 4 lbs and a few snake pikes.

I've fished Big Bend a few times this year with nothing. Yeah sure Rich L has been catching fish there, but Rich L knows what he's doing and manages to pull out some nice bass out of the crappiest ponds.
