My brother and I took the boat out today for a few. Nice day, mid to low 70's and a little breezy. We threw everything, spinner baits,cranks,worms not a bite for the first couple of hours. Then, my brother put on a rattle trap and 20 minutes later hooked into somethimg pretty big! At first we thought a nice bass, but once he got it up we could see it was a nice northern. The northern went for a couple of runs taking out some drag until we got him in the boat using a floating seat cushion as a net. This actually worked pretty well! (Yep I got the SKUNK!)

Thanks guys. Yeah that was probably us. We took Northwest there and back. The boat is a green pelican bass raider.
