Was headed to Lowe's for a few errands and remembered my pole was in the car. It was overcast, not raining so decided to run by this little 'lake' in Bloomingdale. The water was up from all the rain; the turtles were dancing so figured I'd toss out a topwater(Hula Popper) and get some practice on it. Missed a few early but ended up with a couple of small LMB (8") in about 45 minutes of work. Wanted to get into some of the better areas for bass but the water was so high that it flooded out the sand shores.
